Tourists from Bangladesh to visit Sikkim will no longer require any permits to visit Sikkim restricted areas. Bangladesh citizens can visit Sikkim yak and yeti travel. Mr. Islam from Bangladesh said- “I’m very pleased to hear this, but particularly the fact that we can now visit Sikkim or Arunachal. I will plan another trip and this time it will be exclusively for Sikkim,” said Mr. Islam, who went back from Darjeeling last summer. Darjeeling but was told not to go to Sikkim ‘without permission’ as it was ‘out of bounds’ for citizens from Bangladesh to Sikkim.
